'Flyers' for our Annual Dinner on 4th October at 'The Springfield Hotel' have been circulated to all Club Delegates. I'm still searching for a good speaker so, until we know the cost of one we can't fix a price although it will not exceed the £25 we normally pay. As soon as I'm succesful you'll be advised of the price.

This year the Committee has decided to extend an invitation to all Club Vice-Captains to attend as paying guests. We felt that by doing this incoming Captains can get a first taste of our activities and also meet some of their eventual contemporarie as Captains. We hope that as many as possible take advantage of this opportunity to get involved.

The following Menu has been agreed with choices being made on the night:-

Homemade Tomato & Basil Soup

Garlic Mushrooms

Fish Course

Poached Salmon Hollandaise

Main Course

Half Roast Chicken wrapped in Bacon etc
or
Braised Steak in a Smoked Bacon & Button Onion Sauce

Dessert

Vanilla Cheesecake with Forest Berries
or
Sticky Toffee Pudding with Butterscotch Sauce & Ice Cream

 

Any Members with special dietary requiements should let me know in plenty of Time.

 

Names of Members wishing to attend should be given to Delegates by 1st October and,if possible,money should be paid to him before the Dinner so that he and the Treasurer can enjoy the night along with the rest of us and not be involved in collecting money etc.

 

 

 Our final Competition of the season is the'Individual Trophy' @ Hawarden Golf Club on Sunday 22nd September, Five place prizes, birdie ball sweep on the par threes and a two course meal all for the sum of £12. Names to your rep's by the 16/9/13 please.
